I watched the battle at Pebble Beach this weekend and was stunned again to see Tiger’s failure on a Sunday.

Will he ever rebound?

One of the hottest top dance songs on the market right now is Born This Way by Lady Gaga.  I have just been checking around the Internet to have a listen to this song and see if it is one that I want to buy.

Here is what a few folks have been saying:

Lady Gaga proves she is braver than most with her new song ‘Born This Way’. While most mainstream music artist touch (just barely) on the important social issues of today, Lady Gaga, in usual Gaga Fashion, tackles these issue very blatantly. It’s refreshing to see an artist (for whatever the reason) not fearing voicing her concerns and hopes. It’s a positive message that should be applauded. There is a lot of gossip surrounding this song, that, at least to levelheaded individuals is completely unfounded. This song was intended to upilft and normalize a group of individual who in our country (United States) has been grossly supressed. This song, while enjoyable by people of any age, is most importantly needed by the younger LGBTS people who need someone talking directly to them and helping them celebrate who they are without fear and self hatred.I applaud Lady Gaga on her direct message to these people in need.

“I am a Madonna fan tried and true before Gaga, way before Gaga.I’ve been around the Madonna block for over 20 years so I know a thing or two about the Queen M.#1. If the internet diddnt blow up with comparisons, I wouldnt have linked “Express Yourself” and “Born This Way”.There are some similarities but I dare you to find ANY woman in pop music whos tree is not rooted in Madonna on some level.#2. Madonna has, through her 30 year career borrowed and stolen from COUNTLESS people she found inspiring.Wasnt the “Express Yourself” song directly influenced by ‘Sly and the Family Stone’ and ‘Earth, Wind and Fire’?Wasnt the ENTIRE video not a direct rip off of the movie “Metropolis”?

People seem to be pretty crazy about this sond and it continues to track billboard as one of the hottest releases on the market right now. 

I just downloaded off of Amazon, which is also where I got the reviews and I must say…Born This Way is One Great Song!!!

The first thing that I did this morning was check out how Tiger Woods started his golf season yesterday.

Yesterday was the beginning of Tiger’s golf season at the Farmer’s Insurance Open in San Diego.

The last time that he played there was when he beat Rocco Mediate to win the U.S. Open on one leg. 

After check out the headline, Tiger Woods shoots 69 in season opener, I knew that Tiger would be back on track. 

Also, it was very good to see John Daly had a great start to the year firing a 5-under.  I hope he will continue this but we both know that it will be tough. 

Both of them need to learn how to drive a golf ball better because when they get up on the tee, they only know one thing:  it will be long.  But where it will go is anybody’s guess.

If JD and Tiger could each improve their golf driving skills, they could each have amazing years…certainly better than last year!

I need to figure out how to watch the Superbowl online soon!

Here’s my situation.  My boss just asked me to come into work on a Sunday.  This is usually a no-braner as I get paid double-time.  In fact, it’s great.

But the Sunday that I have to work is Superbowl Sunday and I don’t want to miss it.  I don’t think anybody will be there so I can easily watch the Superbowl online while I am at work. 

Does any know if that link that I just pointed to works?  Can I watch football there? 

I have also heard of channelsurfing.net. or the NFL Game Pass if anybody has any input on these two.

Please answer soon as the day is not far off and I have to see my beloved Steelers!!!

Here is the thing about an iPod.  Once you get it, you still don’t "get it"…you need to learn how to use it…you first need to figure out how to put music on an ipod and then you need to learn all of the other cool feature like video.

As I have been playing with my new iPod Nano Purple I have realized just how abundant and featurfull these little devices are.  I, like many, bought mine only as a music player.

Then, I discovered that you can watch TV shows and movies on it, which is entirely and absolutely cool!!!  So, what I have done is purchase an entire season of MadMen and placed it all on my iPod Nano.  Now, when I travel, I am constantly watching MadMen.  I love this show.

Plus, I have zillions of songs with me.  I bought the new Nano so I have an abundant supply of information that I can store on this thing.  On top of that, you can add all of the photos that your heart desires.

It is truly a great device. 

I was extremely happy…until I read You Just Might Need Two iPods Too…

Well, I am still here at work today because we do not get out until noontime, but, really, what can I do today?  There really aren’t any customers to deal with it.  So, I am researching how to transfer my bookmarks from one computer to another and stumbled up a place where I can put all of my bookmarks in one place. 

The great thing about this site, Diigo.com, is that I can have all my bookmarks store on the Internet and it does not matter what computer that I am on.  Thus, if I am roaming, which I often am, I will have my bookmarks available whereever I happen to be. 

This raises bookmarks to a whole new convenient level.  Not only that, you can see other people’s bookmarks.  Thus, if someone is involved in a topic that is one you enjoy, you can find all of their bookmarks and participate in discussions with them.

All in all, it makes for a very interesting and convenient tool.  I recommend to everyone to check Diigo…you probably find it very useful!!!

Normally, on New Year’s, you can find me at the latest, hottest club.  But, tonight, we’ll be kickin it country style as a change of pace. 

After reading that Dolly Parton Back on Top of the Country Charts, I began thinking that I have not been to a country bar for a long time and remembered what fun I had the last time that I did go to a country bar.  And so, I began thinking about New Year’s plan and that it might be fun to get a big group of people, put on some country duds, and hit up the country bar scene on New Years.

I enlisted all of my friends and we have a collective mindset:  We are going to rock the country house tonight.  I have been passing around the latest top 20 country songs so we would not seem like country music invalids when we enter the bar tonight. 

Truth be told, I am SO excited.  When was the last time that I rode a bull?  It had to be at least 5 years ago.  I hope that I can still do it because it was that much fun.

Everyone is up for this unusual, extraordinary treat tonight.

Tonight, I am going to be cooking aspargus and it brings up some funny stories.

One of my favorite authors is a guy named Tom Robbins.  He is the author of many books but the one that I most love is called Jitterbug Perfume. 

Anyway, in this book he speaks of his deep infatuation with women and mentions that he even loves the smell of women after she has eaten asparagus because she omits a distinct aroma at this time.

So, it is with this story in mind, while I was looking for articles on How To Grill Asparagus that I found a women’s article called Does Asparagus Make Your Pee Smell?

Now, I know that almost all of you have eaten asparagus and gone to the bathroom at some point afterward.  You probably wondered, "Hmmm, what is that distinct smell?" and then you remember that you ate asparagus.

So, I have one question?

Does the smell of asparagus turn you on?

Today, Friday, December 18th, my company is being very unfriendly.  They are blocking our Facebook access at work.

Now, I sympathize with some people who write that, "My Kids Want To Use Facebook At School" but in the workplace, we are grown-ups so in my opinion this is rather ridiculous.

So, just to get them back, today at work I am not going to work.  Rather, I am investigating how to unblock Facebook at work so that I can still access Facebook even though, technically–quite literally, I am not supposed to be doing this.

It turns out that I am not alone in this issue.  Many people face the same thing and so a whole industry has cropped up around the idea of accessing blocked websites. 

This whole workaround is something known as proxy servers.  Proxy Servers allow you to appear like you are coming from somewhere else.  To use these, I can simply reconfigure my browser and off I go. 

Argghhh, it appears that I cannot reconfigure my browser at work–they’ve locked it! 

Dammit, these guys are pretty good but I’m better and I’ll find a way.  Buying beers for the tech guys always helps
